Transform yourself—and the world—through the wisdom of three powerful goddesses. In this lecture, we will explore the myths of Inanna, Ceres, and Athena through a feminist lens, uncovering their stories of resilience, power, and transformation.
Inanna, the bold Sumerian goddess, defies the gods, claims her own power, and faces death in the underworld only to rise again on her own terms. Her myth is a radical story of self-discovery, accountability, and rebirth.
Ceres, the Roman goddess of agriculture, wields her grief as a tool for resistance, forcing the gods to recognize the power of women’s labor and love. Her story is one of maternal strength, justice, and defying patriarchal control.
Athena, the Greek goddess of wisdom and strategy, navigates a world of male dominance with intellect and strategy. Her myth reflects the tension between survival within patriarchal structures and the quest for female autonomy.
